Oak Pass House by Walker Workshop Architects
I was inspired by photos by Joe Fletcher I found on Archdaily. I tried to recreate those shots using 3D software Blender with renderer Cycles. The house is primarily constructed of structural concrete but is surrounded by countless Oaks. Trees, bushes, plants… all required high poly models full of details. This complex project brought opportunity to improve workflow and to acquire knowledge about lighting and greenery. The shape of the house allowed me to pay more attention to materials, textures and distribution of vegetation.
In case you are interested in the detailed process of creation in Blender, you can find more information in article MAKING OF Oak Pass House.
